WOW! I love what God did yesterday in our house! I was so blessed to see all that God did in the hearts of people! It truly was amazing!
I look forward this coming weekend to sharing with you the total commitments for ALL IN and the total from the Dream Offering! Robin and I are taking a little down time this week, so I look forward to seeing you next weekend!
You are an amazing church!

As excited as I am about what God is doing at Journey through "ALL IN", I am absolutely pumped about what happens after! This year we are doing something we have never done before during the Christmas season, and I think you will like it!
Starting in December we will kick off a series called "Christmas Around the World". Throughout the month of December, we will be taking a look at Acts 1:8 –– But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
As we allow the Lord to challenge us about what missional living looks like, we will present some staggering realities and opportunties around our city, state, and world. We'll wrap up the series with huge Christmas Eve celebrations! This year you'll have to have tickets to get in, but I think you'll like what the tickets will be!

I'm not sure if I could ever say enough how proud I am of Journey Church! It is truly amazing to hear the conversations that are filling the hallways, the small groups, the dinner tables, etc. I have never been more proud of our church, and its heart towards God!
Here are just a few of the things that make me proud:
- The way you trust God! I'm lovin' the stories of how people are moving forward in faith!
- Your sincerity in worship! People are connecting with God through worship in huge ways! It is a blast to watch you worship!
- The way you are taking ownership of the house! One of my pet peeves is when people call it "Your church" when they refer to me. The conversation has become "our church" and I love it!
- The way you are inviting people to experience God! Every week we are meeting new people.
- The way you are ...

As we have been meeting with people through the process of ALL IN, one of my favorite aspects has been hearing people's questions. It has been a huge blessing to hear people's hearts for God, His church, and others. It has been fun to hear people's passions for making a difference. Some people have a passion for kid's ministry, some for benevolence, some for missions, some for sound, but all for God!
Here is what I have noticed about people who know how to ask good questions:
- They smile as they ask the question!
- They ask with a great attitude! In other words, it is asked with a spirit of wanting to know more, more than being the guard dog for God.
- They are wanting to know the details behind the heart, more than just hearing the facts.
- They are not critical!
- They understand that there will always be more to define!
I h ...

One of the greatest blessings of ALL IN thus far is the time I am getting to spend with the community of Journey Church! Robin and I have had the opportunity to spend some time with a lot of people over the past several weeks, and the bottom line is simple - I love this church!
While there have been a bunch of great questions about ALL IN, most of the evenings have been full of just having fun with one another! I have shared at each place that ALL IN is truly about people becoming planted in the house of God, and that is happening in a huge way.
My heart is for every person to be planted into the local church! It takes effort, rescheduling, reprioritizing - but it is so worth it! Your life will flourish!

Thought #2: If you had to finish this statement, "If I could do anything in the world, it would be..." - what would the last words read?
To me it's simple - it would be pastoring JourneyChurch, helping lead thousands of people into their God-given potential and dreams.
I think many times we become trapped by our busyness, financial commitments, etc., and that our cause takes a back seat to the messyness of our lives. We buy into the myth that if we have "_________" or do "__________", that it will create happiness, but it never does. So we end up with car payments we don't want, house payements that stretch us, credit cards bills that we don't even remember what we bought, and we live in bondage to those things, forfeiting our cause.
So stop! Take a breath! And spend some time finishing the statement, "If I could do anything, it would be....". As you think about it though, don't make it abo ...

A week ago, as we wrapped up "Storyline" we talked about learning how to dream wildly. This week I want to help you think through how to discover your dream.
Thought #1
It is usually the place that causes you to weep where you discover your cause. Ironically, the place that causes you to weep will ultimately bring you joy.
Question: What is it that causes you to weep?
For me it is simple: People that do not live into their potential; People who do not think they can make a difference in our world; People who live in poverty.
What brings me joy? Helping people live into their God-given potential and dreams; Equipping and empowering people for Biblical leadership; Seeing people break the cycle of povert in their lives.

God is doing so many BIG things at Journey Church! I am very honored and humbled to be a part of this ministry. We are blessed to have a pastor who is constantly seeking God, and leading toward Him. Pastor Clark’s vision is very focused, and Kingdom minded. We will never sit still, we will always be moving forward, bringing glory to God!
One of the areas in which we have seen great growth is our worship. About a year and a half ago Pastor Clark begin leading our church to a new place of response to the Lord. Now each Sunday we see thousands of people physically expressing our spiritual relationship with God through song, prayer, scripture, and many other ways.
The mission of our Worship Ministry is to position our church to step into God’s presence and worship both as a corporate body, and in our everyday lives. The bottom line is God’s presenc ...

This Sunday I kick off a new series: "All In". For the next four weeks we are going to be taking a look at the possibilities that God has for Journey Church as we all go "All In". While the past 8 years have been simply miraculous, the next 8 will be something you don't want to miss!
Here are a few things that will never change:
- We will passionately share the gospel! There are thousands of people in our communities that don't know the love of Christ and we will do everything possible to reach them!
- We will be relentless about reaching the next generation! The stats are simple: only 4% of the youngest generation alive have a relationship with Christ! We are becoming an unreached people group! Not going to happen!
- Our target ministries will be children, youth, and college! While we will do more than ever this coming years in discipling adults, we are ready to crank it up anot ...

This past Sunday could mark my favorite Sunday in the history of Journey Church! I was absolutely blown away by, and humbled by, people's response at the end of the worship experience. I loved having the opportunity to pray over everyone who wants to Dream Wildly with their lives. I am so proud of the hundreds of people who took the uncomfortable step of faith to come forward for prayer! It was great!
As I stood there praying I was overwhelmed with the thought of how to continue the conversation of helping people live into their God-given potential and dreams. My heart is not to have a moment in a worship experience, but a moment with God that continues to make the cause of Christ evolve in your life.
To reiterate what I shared Sunday, there are three Biblical truths your dream should be in alignment with:
- The Cause of Christ
- Building the Local Church
- ...
