As I sit here thinking about the next 6 months I am absolutely pumped! Everywhere I look I see God's hand and blessing, plus it's my favorite time of year!
Here are some of the things I look forward to:
It's lake season! The countdown is on to pulling out the boat and playing hard! I love to watch my kids ski, wakeboard, tube, etc.!
Robin and I get to go to Hillsong in July! We booked our tickets this weekend! I've always wanted to see Austraila and Hillsong! Bonus: Stopping off in New Zealand for a few days! Way cool!
One Prayer is starting in 6 weeks! I love getting to partner with thousands of churches all around the globe. I'm taping my One Prayer message tomorrow night, be praying for me.
We get to make a major announcement this weekend about our future! I can't wait to see what God is going to do!
In my mind, the beginning of the school year is already here. It's my favorite time of year! God is going to do some cool stuff next school year, so I'm ready for it to be here.
Oh, and the list goes on... I'll keep you posted as more begins to unfold!

Re: The Next 6 Months
It is exciting to look ahead! Many of us are looking ahead in an effort to forget the present. The economy and the uncertainty of new government, policies and of course new taxes makes things uncertain. It has been many years since I have felt the stress of economic loss like the last few years. I am sure that there is a plan that God has in store for us all. Many may feel that God has gone on vacation like Elijah suggested to the prophets of Ba’al on Mount Carmel about Baal being in the Water Closet! Surely YHWH has a greater plan and goal in mind! It is times like these that we are tested and the dross of our faith is lifted away. With all of the pain and suffering of the world for us to see at a moments notice these days it is even more difficult to imagine that we are even in his thoughts. It may be enough to compare our seemingly prosperous lives with the less fortunate or even the suffering in Sudan to help us believe that we are still blessed. And that is so! But we still feel the uncertainty in our own lives and that of our children. Even when we have that knowledge, we still question why? But this is when we find our closest connection with him. Even in our greatest doubts he holds on to us! Even as a child we push him away he still reaches for us, gathering us back to his embrace. As Easter reminds us of the resurrection of Christ, so me must also anticipate the resurrection of our faith and hope in a New Beginning! So we look ahead to a better day!

Re: The Next 6 Months
Clark, I am ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN your One Prayer message will be phenomenal!
With no disrespect meant to anyone, I have to say this and I can't think of anyone better to whom to say it but you:
I finally caught Joel Osteen on television for the very first time tonight. He was delivering his talk from Yankee Stadium. While his message was good, all I could think was, "This guy has nothing on Clark Mitchell!" Thanks for being a great teacher and leader without being all "televangical" about it. Your way brings many in and leads many to God!!! Lead on!!!
