Last night was an absolute success!  A huge crowd of people came eagerly ready to serve and support the community.  Check out a few highlights:

  • Several groups of people prayed over schools, businesses, parks, apartment complexes and houses
  • One group was given the opportunity to pray over a woman whose husband has cancer
  • A large group of people stocked, organized, and cleaned the Community Action food pantry and office
  • People gave of their resources and purchased food and supplies to support the overwhelming need of the Community Action Clients
  • A great crew mowed, weed whacked, picked up trash, and hauled off large items around the Community Action office
  • One landscape team mowed, weed whacked, and picked up trash at a nine-unit multi-family complex owned by Community Action

The stories of impact are continuing to be shared.  You can catch us next time at the LoveWorks Block Party Saturday, June 27th from 10a-12p.  You can sign up to volunteer at livesummerdifferently.tv. Thank you to all those that served and prayed.  We look forward to seeing you soon.

Re: LoveWorks

At first I was confused but I needed that prayer walk. My group that I was with was awesome. We took turns praying! At first the map was good but then we had to let God show us the way and I was tired. Moses is a good guy and I met others as well. I talked to people and I'm still trying to get to know people. I am a new Member!
