Wow! The last week has been a huge whirlwind, but one great week!

It started last Sunday after church when I headed to Naples, Florida to spend 3 days with Ed Ivy, pastor of Living Waters Community Church. Ed became the pastor at LW 2 years ago and has seen the church double in size! God is using him in a big time way in that area! I look forward to building a great friendship!

After returning home I headed to Lake Tenkiller for 24 hours of play with the family. As usual we had a blast, but were missing Christopher.

Came back from the lake in time for a wedding rehearsal Friday night. Usually don't do wedding rehearsal dinners, but felt like the Lord really challenged me to do this one. I'm glad! God has given me some great new friends.

Friday night, about midnight, we picked up Christopher from the airport. He had been with the youth in Haiti for 10 days. I love hearing stories about what God did! He came home with his "I think I can grow a beard" look and a complete buzz! I loved it, Mom struggled. His first words were that he is considering spending the summer there next year! That went over well with Mom.

Did the wedding Saturday night and headed off to Wichita to speak Sunday morning at GracepointeChurch.tv. Had a great time with pastor Bryson and crew. It is a honor to be able to speak into their lives!

Drove home from Wichita, took a quick nap, and took Robin to see a movie at the Warren Theatre in Moore. We sat up in the balcony where they serve you food. We ate some mean nachos, drank ice tea, and had hot apple pie. I am a changed man forever! That is they way to see a movie.

Today I had the chance to play in the Don George golf tournament in Dallas. I had a great time hanging out with a lot of great friends and meeting some new ones. I had the opportunity to talk to Matthew Barnett, from the Dream Center LA. This guy thinks big! I love what God is doing through him for the oppressed and the poor! We just hired one of the guys he mentored!

So that has been what's going on the past week. I feel like God is speaking so much stuff to me right now that it's hard to decide what to share and when. The next year at Journey will be great! Thanks for making Journey such a great place!

Re: What a week

The Warren Theatre in Moore looks very cool. Does the balcony feel crowded? My wife has dementia, and I'm always on the lookout for things we can do out that don't "feel" crowded.

Re: What a week

We appreciate all of the traveling, speaking, working, etc... which you do to grow in God yourself so that you lead us as He choses, and we appreciate and acknowledge the fact that your family sacrifices their special time with you so that you may do so. Thank you all!
