Have you ever set out to go somewhere but you didn't know how to get there? So you hop in the car, take off driving, and away you go. After a while on this course you realize that it might be helpful to lay out a clear path on where you're going. Driving around aimlessly might be fun for a while, but at some point it becomes highly frustrating that you have made no head way.

That seems to sum up where a lot of people are living right now. The course of the ecomomy has many people driving around in circles. Some the circle of depression, some the circle of anger, some the circle of fear, while others the circle of confusion.

Many people are asking the question, "What is next?"

I believe the answer is a clear path.

Choose to stop circling around in depression, anger, fear, and confusion. Choose to ask God to give you direction in your dream. Choose to pray and fast while laying out a path for the next 12 to 18 months. Choose to execute the path. And most importantly - choose to trust God!

A little over a year ago I was very frustrated with where I had led the church. I had several choices: Lead in frustration - Quit in defeat - Hear God, lay out a clear path, and execute.

I chose the latter! I asked God for direction, I prayed and fasted while laying out a clear path, I executed the plans that would lead us down the path, and I chose to trust God in a whole new way.

A year later I stand in awe in all that God has done!!

I could have kept circling, but it was simply time to lay out a clear path.

My encouragement to you is to stop circling. Give God your hurt, anger, depression, and confusion. Pray and fast. Lay out a path. And go for it! God will be faithful!
