There has been a couple that has attended Journey for years that has recently experienced God in a huge way! They have always been here, but it has been sporadic due to kids, activity, etc. They are a great couple, with great hearts.
Several months ago, their journey got thrown for a loop when she found out she had stage 4 cancer! She is a young lady, good shape, no bad habits, and boom - cancer!
As soon as we found out we began praying with her on a daily basis. They would come up front every week for ministry time and began to pray together on a regular basis as a couple.
This past week we found out all the cancer is gone! After prayer, and treatments, she is 100% cancer free! Everyone has been blown away! Just a few months ago she was using a walker to get around and now she is cancer free!
God is good! All the time!!!

Re: Great Story
Amen! Praise God! He is absolutely amazing! I have seen Him take a dear friend of ours right from the brink of death and restore her health. Even her doctors admitted her healing was not due to their efforts. It was due to the prayers of all her family and friends. She is a living, breathing testimony every day, thanks to God's grace.

Re: Great Story
Just to echo how great God really is...
In January I had a heart attack. Similar to the story above, no history, good health, 41years old. I was alone in a model home, working. A lady just happened to come in to see the home and found me. As she was calling 911, I muttered "thank God you're here". She said, "honey, it was God who sent me". When I got to the hospital, the doctor said that my heart could not have sustained that rhythm for even 5 more minutes. She truly was an angel.
Better story... Just this past Tuesday, 03/17, my sister and her four children decided to take a trip to the Tulsa zoo. As they were exiting the highway, a car traveling the wrong way on the ramp hit them almost head on and pushed their TrailBlazer off of the ramp. The car flipped at least 5 times over the course of about 550 yards downhill. Everyone survived! They had to cut two of them out of the car, but everyone will be okay (broken bones, cuts, bruises, etc). Both the paramedic and the highway patrol were amazed that anyone survived. My 13 year old nephew said that it felt like someone was holding him as the car was flipping. He said he felt "wrapped up".
