Main Street is a safe and inviting atmosphere where our preschoolers are cared for in a small group environment. We teach key Bible truths through repetition and creativity while establishing a foundational understanding of who God is. Our goal is for preschoolers to know these 3 key principles: 1) God loves me, 2) God made me, and 3) Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Kindergarten thru 5th Grade

Route 2:52 is the place to be for our elementary age kids! In Luke 2:52, Jesus provides a clear example of how a child should “grow up”. This passage has become the foundation for what we do and what we teach in Route 2:52. It is our mission to disciple kids. The 3 basic truths we learn in Route 2:52 actually encompass the key characteristics of a true disciple: 1) I need to make the wise choice; 2) I can trust God no matter what; and 3) I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
WIRED... plugging parents into a kid's world!
WIRED is an entire night devoted to families having a blast together! This family fun night consists of free food, fellowship, face painting, moon bounces, and of course, a 45 minute production that will offer high-energy praise and worship, incredible drama that is real-life applicable and gifted storytellers. A different Bible based virtue is emphasized each month. Parents will be challenged to participate in a kid’s world and will even receive a Family Pack filled with incredible tools to help parents lead their children in their spiritual walks. Families, be sure to mark your calendars and invite all of your friends to join us at our next WIRED!
Joy Ride is a program where parents and children learn what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The points and related scripture are presented to the children with examples that they may experience in their lives and in a way that is easy for them to understand. Our Family Birthday Celebration is a special experience held for baptizing the children who have participated in Joy Ride. Following their baptism, the children gather with their parents and small group leader for prayer over the child. The Birthday Celebration is then complete with cake and gifts (Bibles) for the children to celebrate their spiritual birth!

Baby Dedication is a special service created to give parents the opportunity to publicly affirm their desire to raise their child in Christ and celebrate their new addition with family and friends. In the gospel of Luke we are told that when Jesus was just a few days old his parents brought Him to the temple to dedicate Jesus to His Father. The dedication was a symbol of Mary and Joseph’s obedience to God and their commitment to raise Jesus according to the scriptures. Journey Church’s Baby Dedication is not a christening or baptism. It is instead, a time when the pastors and congregation pray for the parents and for the child.

Where do I take my children once I enter the church?
Once you enter Journey Church, make your way to the JourneyKIDS Check-in Booth. Our JourneyKIDS team is stationed here ready to meet you! Our team will take a few moments to find out a little bit of information about your children, and then they will walk you to the appropriate area and will walk you through our security process. Along the way they will talk with you about our JourneyKIDS experiences and the programs we have available through our children’s ministry.
What procedures do you have in place to ensure the safety of my children?
Our purpose in JourneyKIDS is to lead children to become fully devoted followers of Christ. It is our goal that your child will enter into an authentic and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. All of our classrooms in JourneyKIDS are staffed with volunteers who have committed their lives to Christ and who model the mission of Journey Church. Each volunteer in JourneyKIDS has undergone a thorough screening process and background check.
Your child’s safety is very important to us. Each child in JourneyKIDS is assigned an identification number. If we need you during the Worship Experience, your child’s identification number will be displayed on the big screen. When picking up your child from the classroom, you will need to present your identification card in order for us to release your child to you.
